Mr. McTague ,a partner in the firm, received his B.A. in Political Science and his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami, his M.B.A. with Distinction from New York Institute of Technology, and is currently all-but-dissertation for his Doctor of Business Administration with a focus in finance from Nova Southeastern University and is finishing his LLM in tax law from the Washington School of Law. In addition, Mr. McTague received his Chartered Financial Consultant from the American College and has attended numerous courses in international intellectual property law at the United Nations. He is admitted to the bars in both Florida and the District of Columbia, and is licensed in many federal courts including the Supreme Court of the United States.
Mr. McTague focuses most of his representation on technology and intellectual property matters, as well as community association representation.
Mr. McTague has been active in many organizations, including the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce, the West Boca Business Council, Leadership Boca, Leadership Broward, the Boca Raton Sunset Rotary Club, Mensa, the Triple Nine Society, the Federalist Society, Phi Alpha Delta, the America Bar Association, and is a past president for the Palm Beach County chapter for the society of Financial Service Professionals. Joel is also a competitive masters swimmer and has a third degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
