David Neal Stern

David N. Stern focuses his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, business bankruptcy, and creditors' rights.  He primarily assists companies, associations, and individuals in resolving contractual and other commercial disputes through litigation, arbitration, mediation, and out-of-court negotiations.  He works in both Austin, Texas, and Boca Raton, Florida.

Mr. Stern is admitted to practice law before the United States Supreme Court and state, bankruptcy, and other federal trial and appellate courts in Florida, Texas, and Georgia.  He is a member of The Florida Bar, the State Bar of Texas, the State Bar of Georgia, the Austin Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Robert W. Calvert American Inn of Court, and the Honorable Larry E. Kelly Bankruptcy American Inn of Court.  Mr. Stern has been certified in the area of business bankruptcy law by the American Board of Certification, which is accredited by The Florida Bar and the State Bar of Texas.

Mr. Stern graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Law, where he was an associate editor of the Florida Law Review and a member of the moot court team. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree, served as student body treasurer, and was a member of Florida Blue Key.  He is originally from Charleston, South Carolina, and even named one of his pets in its honor (Charles Stern).
