Andrew D. Levy

Andrew D. Levy, resident in the Firm's Boca Raton office and a partner in the firm, is a member of our Corporate Department.

Andrew maintains a broad transactional practice, including the structuring, formation, drafting and negotiation of joint ventures, advising borrowers and lenders in commercial/secured loan transactions, assisting clients in private finance/capital raising transactions, handling all phases of mergers and acquisitions transactions, and drafting and negotiating intellectual property licenses, employment agreements, and vendor and other contracts. Andrew also regularly handles the purchase, sale and financing of multi-family and other real estate projects.

Many of Andrew's clients rely upon him to serve as their outside general counsel. In that capacity, Andrew provides ongoing advice on a full range of legal matters. Often, this involves the development of pre-litigation case resolution strategies and the management and coordination of legal issues being handled by other practice groups, such as employment disputes, intellectual property and litigation matters.

Andrew comes to the Firm from Proskauer Rose LLP, where he practiced for 13 years. Prior thereto, Andrew was an associate at White & Case, LLP in Miami, where he represented venture capital funds in a variety of private investments and divestitures. Before relocating to Florida, Andrew was an associate at Shearman & Sterling in New York, where for a number of years he maintained a singular focus on cross-border leveraged lease transactions, representing equity participants and lessees in transactions involving aircraft, railroad rolling stock, power plants, and transmission lines. Andrew also served as an intern to Hon. Harold Baer, U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York.
